Amari and Eian grew up in Austin and have been best friends for six years. The company came later.

Eian grew up in Austin and served in the Army as a Cavalry Scout before he ever set foot on a roof. He came up in commercial construction, ten years from apprentice to running crews of forty on high-rise interiors, and started Nine Line Roofing in 2023. Phase One came out of what that taught him: the part homeowners hate about remodeling usually isn't the work, it's everything around it. The runaround, the price that moves, the crew nobody warned you about.
